Construction of a New Build Development.
The development consists of 47No. luxury apartments, in 2 separate blocks & 10No. houses.
The MEP services for the apartments consists of district heating, supplied from a basement Energy Centre. The services are to be based on traditional wet/wet systems from central plant c/w CHP & ASHP linked to RHI payments over the next 20 years. The added features developed for this scheme are to utilise combined heating and power and air source heat pumps for energy efficient hot water and heating strategies, twinned with heat pump boilers and duty assist boiler plant.
The net result of the technologies employed are resulting in significant cash payments back to the client via the re-newable heat incentive and operating cost reductions for the main communal electrical services via the electrical energy production from the combined heating and power plant.
Each apartment has been designed to incorporate Heat Interface Units, with energy metering, to ensure efficient energy usage.
